Local document processing
The current release reads only plain-text files that you explicitly select. Citation-pattern extraction runs on your device. Selected document contents are not sent to a Citation Shield server by the extraction feature.
Saved results
Extraction history and app preferences are stored locally on your device. You can remove saved history in the app or delete the app to remove its local data.
Purchases
Apple processes subscription purchases, billing, renewal, and restoration. Citation Shield receives StoreKit entitlement status needed to unlock features but does not receive your full payment-card details.
Tracking
The current app does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Citation Shield does not sell document content or personal data.
Support communications
If you email support, the information you include is used to respond to the request. Do not send confidential client documents or privileged material by email.
