Supported documents

The current release accepts plain-text (.txt) files. It scans locally for case-style citations, U.S. Code sections, and C.F.R. sections. Every result is labeled Not Verified and requires manual research.

No citations found

Confirm that the file is plain text and contains recognizable citation text. Citation Shield does not invent sample results when nothing is detected.

Subscriptions

Apple supplies localized prices and processes purchases. Use Restore Purchases in the app after reinstalling or changing devices. Plans renew monthly unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
